Open 4 Business - ARPR makes debut appearance
ARPR was delighted to have its first stand in almost seven years at an exhibition this month! Hosted by Mid Sussex District Council, the Open 4 Business event attracted over 200 local businesses and presentations from high profile business leaders and council representatives. The South of England Showground was the ideal venue for the show and ARPR thoroughly enjoyed supporting the event and showcasing its work and our gingerbread santa’s and snowmen went down well with delegates!

Meeting a dragon can be easy if you know your game. ARPR meets three icons.
Aneela Rose PR recently caught the attention of some very well known faces; the Easy Sir Stelios, the Dragon Theo Paphitis and the sporting guru that is Jim Rosenthal. Whilst attending the prestigious national Growing Business Awards 2010 ceremony with their client Ticketmedia, ARPR were delighted to meet TV Dragon and retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis (pictured). Sir Stelios of Easyjet fame, hosted the Award for Disabled Entrepreneurs and invited Aneela to discuss a potential business opportunity with him. And, as if meeting Theo and Stelios wasn’t enough, the girls also charmed their way into the arms of TV sports commentator Jim Rosenthal! Jim was hosting the Natural Stone Awards at Lords Cricket Ground where their client Cathedral Works Organisation won multiple stonemasonry awards. All in a day’s work for the team at Aneela Rose PR who relish any opportunity to put Sussex on the entrepreneurial map.

Aneela Meets Boris!
Whilst attending a private event at the Saatchi Gallery on King’s Road in Chelsea, Aneela was priviledged to meet The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson. Followed by a trail of cameras, Aneela and Boris shared a moment, albeit brief! Boris was addressing key figures from the events industry and spent the afternoon discussing business issues affecting this sector.

Dragonesque-Aneela to give business advice to others
Aneela will be sharing her experience of starting her own businesses with members of the public and students at Anglia Ruskin University this month. 'Entrepreneurs' Question Time' will involve the former student speaking about her challenges and successes, while answering questions about how she started and developed her successful business, and what she is planning to do in the future. The event will be hosted by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Alan Sibbald, and Lester Lloyd-Reason, Professor of International Enterprise Strategy, from the Ashcroft International Business School.

Double whammy win for ARPR
ARPR is delighted to announce that in the last month two new clients have come onboard. The promotional campaigns involve managing new product launches and ARPR will use its expertise to integrate the media relations, marketing and sales activity to help achieve tangible results for both the groundcare manufacturing expert Tracmaster and handmade cake specialist Lizzies Food Factory incorporating Lizzies Cakes Direct.

ARPR clients bowled over at cricket event
A county championship match between Sussex and Derbyshire was enjoyed by ARPR clients at an event hosted by the Gatwick Diamond Business Association at the Horsham county cricket ground. Combining a full day of sporting pleasure with food and drink galore, the event was enjoyed by all. The ARPR team is looking forward to treating its clients to a high profile televised event in December, watch this space for our next sizzling event news!

Aneela Rose at the House of Lords
Aneela Rose was delighted to attend the British Educational Travel Association 7th Parliamentary Summer Reception at the House of Lords this month. Over 120 MPs, Peers, industry leaders and international affiliates attended this prestigious event. Hosted by Lord Pendry, Baroness Warwick and BETA Chairman Dick Porter, Aneela Rose and James Sansom of Tower Bridge enjoyed convivial company in decadent surroundings.

Remaining in Burgess Hill in the heart of Mid Sussex and poised for further growth, we now have the luxury of almost triple the capacity than the previous office. As the PR and Marketing industry has grown during this time, so has our business – thankfully. We continue to thrive, providing a suite of creative communication services to businesses across the UK.
