A strategic long-term PR campaign was devised to target leading food and business publications across the UK, but starting with home territory, Sussex media first. Press Releases were issued to key newspapers, magazines, radio and TV stations in the area followed up with cake deliveries to journalists, adverts were placed in trade magazines, exhibition stands at high profile food shows were booked up and media interviews set up with Kate's Cakes Managing Director. Working with Kate's Cakes distribution company, Aneela Rose PR managed a special offer ‘muffins and cookies' campaign to retailers in the South and London. |
As well as driving traffic to the website, Aneela Rose PR successfully positioned Kate's Cakes as the leading handcrafted cake baker in the food trade press and business media. Aneela Rose PR was instrumental in compiling the award application for Sussex Company of the Year in 2005, which Kate's Cakes won. |
