What Business Link required:
Aneela Rose PR won the contract from Business Link Sussex to promote a series of free workshops aimed at rural and land based businesses.
What we did: The south-east's six providers of Business Link services cover Berkshire, Kent, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and Sussex. First off, we wrote a strategic PR plan identifying three stages of activity over the course of 12 months. Upon approval from Business Link, we compiled a comprehensive list of publications in each of these regions as well as trade specific titles where the readership would find the workshops useful to attend. We've written press releases, articles based on the subjects covered in the workshops, promoted the presenters as experts and invited journalists along to attend.
As a result of our work:
Extensive media coverage across a broad range of publications in the south-east has been achieved resulting in a gradual increase of workshop attendees and enquiries over the last year. General awareness of Business Link amongst the public has been raised as well as with the CLA (Countryside and Land Association), NFU (National Farmers Union) and DEFRA (Department of Farming, Rural affairs and Agriculture).
