Project brief

Southover Foods approached Aneela Rose PR to raise the company’s profile in the trade food sector. Southover is the leading food distribution and manufacturing company in the South with over 2000 product lines including an award winning range of own brand speciality meats.

 

 

Solution

A competitive industry, a long-term PR plan was developed. Aneela Rose PR researched and identified key trade publications that had a relevant readership for Southover’s products. Forward features were carefully researched and timely articles written and submitted to journalists; at the same time, Southover’s latest product news and photographs were issued to the media. Goodie boxes were hand delivered to key journalists and followed up with invitations to visit Southover’s premises and interviews with the MD and Quality Manager.

Results

A consistent and positive stream of press coverage and product reviews have been secured over the last 2 years in The Grocer, Caterer and Hotelkeeper, Food Manufacture, Meat Trades Journal, Pub Chef, ProWholesaler, Cost Sector Catering, Food Service Update to name only a few. Aneela Rose PR has developed solid relationships with food journalists proven with the extensive media coverage being received.
