One of India's largest airports has further strengthened its airside safety management procedure by purchasing additional birdstrike avoidance technology from Scarecrow Bio-Acoustic Systems. The airport is now actively using eight vehicle-based systems including the latest Ultima technology. With burgeoning air traffic and over 20 million passengers each year, airside operators at Delhi International Airport firmly recognise the need to use a proven, high technology solution that will effectively combat the problem of nuisance birds.
